I’m gonna say a bit here about boobs. Because boobs are some of the most awesome things ever. I believe I mentioned that I’m bisexual on here at some point. I think boobs are responsible for at least 80% of that, because they are just that awesome.
For a while I had a bit of a love-hate relationship with my boobs, because I thought they were too small. Most big girls get big boobs, but not me. Compared to the rest of me, my boobs are quite small. However, I eventually stopped stressing about it and decided they’re pretty awesome, no matter what size they are. The one on the left is named Lulu and the right one is Benoit. Don’t ask me why, because I don’t really know, the names just popped into my head one day and it seemed like the right fit (hardy har har).
I don’t know many people who don’t like boobs. I’ve had gay guy friends who thought boobs were awesome (mostly for napping on, I can attest to this personally), as well as straight female friends. Even people who don’t like their own boobs can often appreciate the boobs of others. Boobs are just magical that way.
Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t just walk up to a random stranger and feel their boobs. That’s rude and embarrassing and physical assault. However, I enjoy boobs aesthetically, and that includes looking at them as well as touching them. Of course, I try not to stare at anyone’s boobs, because that’s also embarrassing and rude, but a quick look never hurt anyone. I don’t mind when people give my boobs a quick look either (in fact I prefer it, since it means less of a chance that they’ll mistake me for a man, which has happened more than once). And let’s face it, considering the fact that most girls like to wear t shirts with things printed on them, it’s kind of hard not to look at the boobs sometimes, even if it’s just incidental from reading the shirt.
This is a bit of a delicate subject for many people, however. For one thing, there’s the fact that women’s bodies are still considered public property by the majority of society (men and women alike). This is why it’s considered okay to comment on a woman’s appearance, and many people do (especially if said woman doesn’t fit into the societal ideal of beauty, such as being fat, not “fashionable”, not seeming to wear the properly identifying clothes for her sex, etc). I’m not trying to come at the boobs from this angle. Rather, I want to come at the boobs from an angle of loving the female form. I could also write an entire entry about how much I love women with round bellies. Even very skinny girls sometimes have slightly rounded bellies, and it is one of my favorite features on a woman, after her face and her boobs. I want our society to become more positive about the female form, to love it in every iteration, to become overall more sex-positive (although that’s a slightly different topic). I think boobs are something worth celebrating. And I don’t require them to be barely clad in a bra or bikini to appreciate them. They’re pretty damn awesome no matter what kind of wrapping they’re in.
Hooray for boobs, I say. What’s not to love?
